- Yes. You'll receive a fair-market appraisal and IRS-compliant receipt within 30 days of the transfer.
- Do I lose ownership of my timeshare?
- No. You only donate a single week's use — your deed and ongoing ownership are unaffected.
- Who selects the families?
- A staff reviewer reads every application. Families come from a mix of self-referrals, caseworkers, and partner nonprofits.
- What if my week doesn't get used?
- We only accept weeks we're confident we can match. If plans fall through, we return the week to you or re-deposit it in your exchange.
- Do you cover flights?
- Cash donations to SeaBridge fund travel costs like flights, ground transit, and groceries when families need help.
- Are trips supervised?
- Most trips are with the child's own family. For sibling groups without a guardian, we partner with vetted chaperone organizations.
